ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Rebel Recruitment is seeking an experienced Machine Operator with a Class 4 licence to join a busy civil construction team in Nelson.

This is a hands-on role working across a variety of civil infrastructure projects, operating machinery while supporting the wider site team to deliver work safely, efficiently and to programme.

You’ll need to be comfortable operating within active construction environments, looking after your equipment and getting involved wherever required to keep the job moving.

We’re looking for someone reliable and practical who understands civil construction and takes pride in doing the job properly.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

· Current NZ Class 4 driver licence.

· Proven experience operating civil construction machinery and heavy equipment.

· Previous experience working on civil infrastructure, earthworks, drainage, roading or similar construction projects.

· Strong focus on health & safety, equipment care and quality workmanship.

· Reliable, practical and willing to work as part of the wider construction team.
