The Opportunity

You will take ownership of end-to-end estimating on large-scale civil tenders, working closely with engineering, construction, and commercial leaders to develop winning methodologies and pricing strategies.

This role offers strong influence, autonomy, and a clear pathway toward Estimating Manager or Commercial leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead estimating for major bridges, structural concrete, retaining structures, transport infrastructure, and water assets

• Develop tender methodologies, staging strategies, and construction approaches

• Prepare detailed cost plans, build-ups, and competitive tender submissions

• Manage subcontractor pricing, supplier negotiations, and market engagement

• Identify commercial risks, opportunities, and value engineering solutions

• Support bid presentations and contribute to project win strategies

• Mentor junior estimators and strengthen team capability

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience estimating Tier 1 civil and structures infrastructure projects

• Strong background pricing water infrastructure, bridges, heavy structural packages or transport works

• Advanced commercial acumen and contract knowledge

• Ability to manage complex tenders with multiple work fronts and disciplines

• High attention to detail with a strategic and solutions-focused mindset

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Relevant qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management
