ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Rebel Recruitment is partnering with a growing Tier 2 water infrastructure contractor seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join its expanding delivery team.

You’ll initially take responsibility for mechanical and process-focused projects valued up to $5M, managing projects from planning and procurement through construction, commissioning and handover.

The role will see you working closely with clients, consultants, engineers, subcontractors and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially and to programme.

Importantly, the business has a strong pipeline of larger water infrastructure projects, offering the opportunity to progress from managing projects up to $5M to projects exceeding $15M.

Based in either Auckland or Northland, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor and build a long-term career in water infrastructure.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

· Mechanical engineering or construction background delivering water, wastewater, treatment plant, process or related infrastructure projects.

· Project Management experience delivering mechanical packages or projects up to approximately $5M.

· Strong knowledge of mechanical installation, piping, equipment, procurement, commissioning and project interfaces.

· Commercial capability across budgets, forecasting, subcontractors, variations, programmes and reporting.

· Practical, collaborative leader ready to progress into larger and more complex projects.
