ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

An excellent opportunity has opened for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established civil contractor in Hamilton, delivering a strong pipeline of civil infrastructure work across the Waikato.

You’ll take ownership of projects typically ranging from $500k to $5m, with a particular focus on drainage, 3 Waters and general civil infrastructure.

This is a hands-on Project Manager role where you’ll be involved from planning and procurement through to construction, commercial management and final delivery. You’ll work closely with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and commercially.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

· Proven Project Management experience within the New Zealand civil construction sector

· Strong experience delivering drainage, stormwater, wastewater, water and/or 3 Waters infrastructure

· Experience managing civil projects in the $500k–$5m range

· Strong commercial capability across budgets, forecasting, variations, subcontractors and project reporting

· A practical, delivery-focused leader who can build strong relationships with clients, consultants and site teams
