ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join an established civil infrastructure contractor in Auckland, leading the delivery of major water, wastewater, deep drainage, civil and wider 3 Waters infrastructure projects across the region.

You’ll take ownership of projects typically ranging from $20M to $50M, working across complex treatment infrastructure involving significant civil construction alongside mechanical, electrical and process interfaces.

This is a senior, hands-on Project Manager role where you’ll lead projects from planning and procurement through construction, commissioning and final handover. You’ll be responsible for coordinating project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and clients while maintaining control of programme, cost, quality and safety.

The role would suit an experienced civil infrastructure Project Manager who understands the complexity of delivering water and wastewater treatment facilities and wants greater ownership of major projects within a growing contractor.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

· Proven Project Management experience within the New Zealand civil infrastructure or water sector

· Strong experience delivering water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants or complex 3 Waters infrastructure

· Demonstrated experience managing projects or major work packages in the $20M–$50M+ range

· Strong commercial capability across procurement, forecasting, cost control, variations, subcontractor management and client reporting

· A strong project leader who can coordinate civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and process disciplines through construction and commissioning
