Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager – Structures Zone Manager

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are urgently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager to step into a Structures Zone Manager role on a major civil infrastructure project in Auckland.

You will take responsibility for a significant structures work zone, leading the engineering and construction teams and managing the delivery of complex bridge and structural concrete works.

The role will involve managing programme, construction methodology, subcontractors, commercial performance, quality, health & safety and coordination across multiple work fronts.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Engineer ready to step up, or an established Project Manager or Zone Manager looking to take ownership of a substantial structures package on a major infrastructure project.

Bridge construction experience is essential.

This is an urgent appointment, and the client will move quickly for the right candidate. Candidates must be available to commence by mid-October.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

· Strong bridge construction and structural concrete experience

· Senior Project Engineer, Project Manager or Zone Manager-level delivery experience

· Proven ability to lead engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and construction teams

· Strong programme, commercial, quality and health & safety management capability

· Civil Engineering qualification with major civil infrastructure experience
